NOTE  Greg drew this mark upside down and interpreted the "V" as an "A". The initials are right reading as "VN" not "NV" as I originally had it. I have seen only two examples of the "a" mark and the chainspace measurements are wildly discrepant for the three spaces where I have inserted question marks, with the second and third chains in from the left wandering wildly in this section of the sheet. Apparently these chains in this area of the mould had become detached from their supporting wooden ribs.
